The Université de Bourgogne Franche-Comté (UBFC) is a community of universities and higher education institutions (“COMUE”) in the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region. UBFC gathers around 9000 staff among which 2000 assistant professors/professors and 260 permanent researchers, and welcomes around 56000 students every year.

Le2i (Laboratoire Electronique Informatique et Image) is specialized in Electronics, Computing Sciences and Image processing. The laboratory staff is composed of about 100 researchers and 100 PhD/postdoctoral fellows and some 30 technicians/engineers and administrative.

The Le2i team, involved in the ACHIEVE project focuses on acquisition systems and hardware implementation of real‐time image processing. It includes face recognition, motion measurement, video compression, high dynamic range video, and quality control by artificial vision.
