Call for Live Demonstrations
A demo session will be organized for this year's edition of ICDSC. We are looking for interesting
demonstrations of original research prototypes related to all aspects of distributed smart cameras and sensor networks.
This session aims to strengthen the interactions between researchers and practitioners. It offers
a highly interactive environment where participants can demonstrate innovative
research prototypes and receive feedback from the experts as well as researchers on their work.
Demonstrations of advanced implementations and prototypes covering any of the research areas relevant
to the ICDSC conference are encouraged for submission.
Demo proposals should clearly describe what will be demonstrated and how the contributions will be
illustrated interactively. They should provide a high level description of the design, implementation and use of the
system. It is highly recommended to include pictures and screenshots in the proposals. A URL that shows a preview of
the demo can also be included.
Formatting and Submission Guidelines
All submitted demo proposals must be formatted according to ICDSC submission guidelines and must have two (2) pages.
This page limit includes paper title, authors and affiliation, abstract, body, screenshots, and bibliography.
The paper title must begin with the word "Demo: ". Accepted
demo proposals will appear in the ICDSC 2015 proceedings. Submissions in PDF should be uploaded to the conference
submission website under the demo track.
Demo proposals will be selected based on (a) the novelty and originality of the demo and the underlying research,
(b) the technical quality of the proposed implementation, and (c) the breadth of the applicability and attractiveness.
Please note that at least one author of each accepted demo presentation must be registered
for the conference and present the demo.
Submission deadline: July 3, 2015.
