PhD Forum Call for Papers
In addition to full-length technical papers, ICDSC is organizing a PhD Forum held in the form of
a short oral presentation of the work (5 slides), and a panel discussion with experts on the potential
research and application development topics.
PhD students can present and discuss their work with researchers in the field and receive
valuable feedback, while conference participants can learn about interesting academic work in
progress. The forum also includes a panel discussion in which participants can hear from experts
in the related fields about the upcoming research and application development opportunities.
Formatting and Submission Guidelines
Participation in the forum is competitive and selection will be made based on a submitted abstract
of 2 pages. This page limit includes paper title, authors and affiliation, abstract, body, screenshots, and bibliography.
The paper title must begin with the words "PhD Forum: ".
Accepted papers will appear in the ICDSC 2015 proceedings. Submissions in PDF should be uploaded to the conference
submission website under the PhD Forum track.
Review process
All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process. Decisions will be made based
on technical merit and innovation as well as their potential to stimulate interesting discussions
and exchange of ideas at the conference.
Important dates
Submission deadline: July 3, 2015.
