Objectives of the group
- Design of high-performance analog, mixed-signal and radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits, mainly implemented in nanometer CMOS technologies
- Systematic design of analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), mainly based on high-performance sigma-delta modulators, integrated in nanometer CMOS technologies
- Design of analog and RF front-ends for wireless broadband communication systems
- Design of low-power low-voltage analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits
- Design techniques to produce analog integrated circuits and systems that are robust against variability and aging effects
- Systematic design techniques for analog, mixed-signal, RF and heterogeneous circuits and systems
- Exploitation of variability in microelectronic devices, e.g., for security applications
- Modeling and design of radiation-tolerant mixed-signal integrated circuits for space applications
- Design and test of mixed-signal ASICs for optical communication in satellite applications
- Design of robust electronic circuits
