Iluminada Baturone Castillo

Iluminada Baturone received the Licenciado en Físicas degree (with honors) and the Doctor en Físicas degree  (with honors) in 1991 and 1996, respectively, both from the University of Seville, Spain. 
Since 1990 she has been with the Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla, of the Centro Nacional de Microelectrónica. From 1990 to 1991 she had a fellowship of introduction to research for undergraduated students. During 1992 she was a postgraduated research fellow at the Centro Nacional de Microelectrónica. She has also had a fellowship from the regional government in the Departamento de Electrónica y Electromagnetismo at the University of Seville and a post-doctoral grant at the Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla. Currently she is an assistant professor at the University of Seville
 

Her current research interests include hardware/software codesign, neuro and fuzzy systems, and applications in image processing and autonomous robots.
